Dr. Mario Vukic is a Board Certified Neurologist. His interest in neurology began while an undergraduate at New York University’s Center for Neural Science. While there he spent three years performing research on visual perception. He then went on to obtain his medical doctorate from the State University of Stony Brook School of Medicine.

Dr. Vukic completed his internship in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, and his residency in Neurology at the

Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. He was chief resident in his last year. His most recent training was completed at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Clinical Neurophysiology.

Dr. Vukic joined the Hackensack Neurology Group in July, 2003. After joining he took an active role in shaping the future of Neurology at Hackensack Medical Center by helping develop the Stroke Center and speaking at the annual Internal Medicine Board Review Course where he lectured on Neurology.

In addition to his board certification in neurology he is board certified in Electrodiagnostic Medicine through the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and also has subspecialty certification in Neuromuscular Disease, one of the few physicians with this certification in Bergen County, NJ.

Dr. Vukic has been named as one of the best doctors in Bergen County by (201) Magazine.
