About

Bio – Dr. Satya Narisety, MD, is a board-certified Allergy & Immunology specialist treating children and adults with severe allergies, sinus disease, asthma, food allergy, eczema, urticaria, angioedema, and immunodeficiency.

Her conveniently located office in West Orange provides various services, including allergen skin testing, oral challenge, spirometry, and allergen immunotherapy. She offers individualized treatment plans and incorporates novel treatment options, including the latest biologic medications, such as omalizumab, mepolizumab, benralizumab, and dupilumab.

She received her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/Rutgers University and pediatric residency training at New York University. She participated in several research projects in residency involving asthma diagnosis and latent tuberculosis identification, validating the QuantiFERON-TB Gold in children. She also worked abroad, caring for pediatric HIV and hospitalized patients in Mombasa, Kenya.

After spending a year as a Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University, she underwent Allergy & Immunology fellowship training at Johns Hopkins University, where she initiated and conducted FDA-approved clinical trials, leading to many published articles in peer-reviewed journals on the treatment of milk and peanut allergy in children.

She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Rutgers University, teaching future allergists/Immunologists and performing clinical research studies focusing on health inequity. She has served as the President of the New Jersey Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society for two years and is currently on their Board of Directors. NJ Family Magazine has named her one of NJ’s Favorite Kids’ Docs for several years.

She lives in New Jersey with her husband, two children, and a dog. She enjoys drawing, painting, reading, decorating, hiking, swimming, and skiing.
