Dr. Smitha Manoj is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician specializing in obesity medicine. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. Dr. Manoj completed her residency training at Columbia University-affiliated Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey. She was appointed Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine training program at Overlook. She has been in practice in the Central Jersey area since 2001. She also serves on the board of several charities and civic organizations.

Dr. Manoj is also a certified Civil Surgeon who performs immigration physicals. The office offers all vaccinations required for these physicals.
Additionally, Dr. Manoj has her own medical weight loss clinic. Obesity affects 1 in 4 people across the country and is associated with many other diseases like diabetes mellites, heart disease, sleep apnea, heart failure, infertility, and cancer. She provides free consultations for patients interested in achieving a healthy weight. Services offered through the weight loss clinic include individualized diet plans and prescription medications as needed.
