Accepting New Patients
Dr. Shivani Vaidya is a board-certified neurologist with additional subspecialty training in
headache medicine. She earned her medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine
in 2020 and completed her internship and neurology residency at MedStar Georgetown
University Hospital. She then pursued a fellowship in Headache Medicine at Wake Forest Baptist
Medical Center.
Dr. Vaidya’s clinical focus includes all headache disorders, including chronic migraine,
cervicogenic headaches, cluster headaches, and trigeminal autonomic cephalgias, as well as general
neurology. She also performs procedures such as botulinum toxin injections for chronic migraines and
nerve blocks, including occipital, supraorbital, and auriculotemporal nerve blocks.
Dr. Vaidya is a member of the American Headache Society and the American Academy of
Neurology. Originally from New Jersey, she remains dedicated to making a positive impact on
patients suffering from headache disorders. She is passionate about advocacy and supporting
underserved communities. In her free time, Dr. Vaidya enjoys dancing, playing tennis, traveling, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
